ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH CAMPAIGN PARISHIONER TESTIMONIALS

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been a member of St. Patrick's Parish since I was seven years old. So many important events in my life have been here. I was confirmed, married and both of my children were baptized here. I have been involved as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, TEC leader, and active in DSW and the Parish Council. All of these experiences and the wonderful men and women, priests, sisters and lay people have helped me grow into the person I am today. I have seen the physical structure of our church change several times. It is with great enthusiasm, that I look for the much needed update and expansion of our beloved St. Pat's. We have grown in numbers and spirit and we must open our church building and ourselves to the changes and growth. Christ has blessed all of us and soon we will give our Lord love and respect in an expanded beautiful new environment. As Father Joe says, "remember friends, God loves you very, very much." Please show your love to God and our Parish by supporting our campaign.
Christ's Peace,

When I came to St Patrick's in 1975, I was able to enjoy the Church and our community which had been built by a prior generation. I believe this campaign is my opportunity to give back to St Patrick's which is our parish.

During St. Patrick's Centennial Celebration of 2001, someone said it was amazing how 40 families had faith strong enough to build this church which has served us well for over 100 years. I believe the over 1,100 families of St. Patrick's have an opportunity and perhaps an obligation to look forward in faith for another 100 years.

Over a hundred years ago, the founding parishioners of St. Patrick's demonstrated their deep faith in the future by tithing themselves to build the foundation of a community that far exceeded their own modest needs. Their vision saw beyond their time and place, anticipating the greater needs of succeeding generations. Their optimism in the future was justified, and we have been the beneficiaries. . . .Despite current economic problems and uncertainties, we too now have an opportunity to anticipate the future and plan for it. . .We should embrace this moment and pray for its success.

In 2006, our family came to St. Patrick's Parish seeking initiation into the Catholic faith for our daughter Mary and Cathy. We were warmly welcomed and encouraged by Father Joe to begin RCIA classes that fall. When asked by Father Joe if we would help with the capital campaign, we were more than willing to assist. We see it as a way to give back to the forty families who founded St. Patrick's over 100 years ago and give forward to future parishioners of St. Patrick's

We are so excited witnessing God moving and blessing our St. Patrick's Church family with so many ministries, with loving Pastors and a welcoming parish. This body of Christ affects so many lives and we are just getting started. We are blessed to serve and know these changes are very much needed for what is to come - "believing for more than we can imagine -St. Pat's has a life-time of Love to give and there's a life-time service in need."
